Actress Ha Ji Won will be debuting in a different profession come 2012. Local news agencies report that she is currently working on a manuscript set for release next year.
Ha Ji Won’s first foray into writing is reportedly autobiographical, focusing on her views on acting in her life and as a profession and a discussion on other people’s perception of her as a celebrity and a person.
“The book will contain Ha Ji Won’s efforts and passion,” the publisher of her book said in a statement. “In the book, she will write about being and living as an actress. She will also pass on some life lessons to those who are pursuing their dreams. These thoughts will all be from one of the best actresses of Korea.”
The actress is said to have received many offers to write from publishers. Being a private person, Ha Ji Won has raised interest in what she has to reveal in her upcoming book.
Meanwhile, Ha Ji Won is currently shooting "Korea," a film based on the victory of an inter-Korean team in table tennis.
BoA's new Japanese music video "Milestone" was released by MTV Japan today.
The music video for this ballad song features her singing in various places and looking stunning throughout. The first seems to be an abandoned performance hall. This is followed by scenes of her in a car and on the streets of a big city. The ending has her singing on a rooftop, having a beautiful sunset in the background.
As she continues to have an amazing career, BoA is now celebrating her 'milestone' 10th year since her debut in Japan. After first debuting in Korea in 2000, she had already started on overseas promotions a year later as a 14 year old.

The Wonder Girls appeared on the November 17 episode of MBC “Golden Fishery – Radio Star” and were asked some tough questions regarding their U.S. promotions. The hosts of the show, Yoon Jong Shin, Kim Gu Ra, Kim Gook Jin, and Super Junior’s Kyu Hyun, joked about Wonder Girls’ U.S. promotions that in their words did not result in as much success as anticipated.
The hosts first started to mock the girls by saying, “If you guys (Wonder Girls) had stayed in Korea then you would have joined the recent K-Pop boom, but you picked the wrong time to leave,” and “At least if you had made a lot of money it would have felt better.” They followed up with the question, “What was the most difficult thing in the U.S.?”
After a brief moment of silence, Yenny opened up and said, “It’s hard to pick one thing but I would say the language barrier was the hardest.” And then she started to shed some tears as she said, “Language does not improve over a day. I could freely express myself in Korean, but to do it in English, I had to be careful with every single word and I was punished a lot for that.”
Sunye added, “People would just say anything because they don’t see any substantial results from our U.S. promotions, but that really hurt us a lot.”
Sohee also said, “We are very Korean-minded, so it took us a while to learn the U.S. customs. Our personalities aren’t even that outgoing, as opposed to a lot of Americans who are very extroverted. And so when they saw me being quiet, they would just think, ‘Oh, she doesn’t want to work with us anymore.’”
After becoming one of the most popular girl groups since their debut in 2007, Wonder Girls flew to the States in 2009 and mostly spent their time focusing on U.S. promotions. Despite enjoying some success – they ranked at #76 on the Billboard Music Chart – the Wonder Girls have been bashed by some for not making it even bigger in the U.S., a prime example being U.S. producer Teddy Riley’s tweet that said, “Wonderfuls just mad, Wonder Girls are flops in America and no one cares about them.”
Actress Song Ji Hyo will be featured in a photo shoot for fashion brand “Yesse’s” 2011 Winter Photo Shoot.
Showing slim designs with classic styles and vintage British feel, Song Ji Hyo is seen mix-matching knit, fur, and animal print apparels while portraying her usual comfortable yet strong gaze.
An official from “Yesse” said, “Song Ji Hyo came right on time although she had many other schedules. She did not show even the slightest hint of exhaustion and actually smiled throughout the photo shoot. Her candid and polite charm shown on television is really genuine.”

On November 17, 2AM’s Jinwoon finally released the music video for “If It’s Not Now.” The song is a rock-ballad track with impressive guitar sounds, perfectly matching Jinwoon’s powerful vocals.
His voice is also surprisingly fresh with a slight hint of legendary Korean singer, Jo Yong Pil. Jinwoon has repeatedly expressed his willingness to release his own rock-inspired track in the past, and it seems like this track will only speed up his career turn as a rock star.
“If It’s Not Now” is a track specially written by Yoon Do Hyun of the YB Band. He said, “Jinwoon’s voice has something emotional about it,” praising the 2AM member’s versatile voice. Jinwoon will hold a concert on November 25 to celebrate the release of his new single album. He will continue with his 2AM promotions in Japan in the coming months.
On November 17, photos of Rain receiving military commendations were leaked through an online café. Rain seems to have lost some weight in the first photo, but still looks healthy as he flashes a smile at the camera in the second picture.
The caption said Rain received an award for the “respect” category, based on his leadership for younger soldiers and high score at the shooting range. It was previously reported that Rain got 19 out of 20 shots on target for weekend training and all 10 shots on target at night shooting.
Netziens who saw the picture commeted, “Rain’s lost so much weight,” “He still looks great,” and “Even the scar on his nose looks sexy.”

Loen Entertainmenthas unveiled the official concept photo for IU‘s second full-length album!
On November 17th, Loen released the photo through their official Twitter, along with the message, “If you blink, you become an adult.”
The agency explained, “IU’s 2nd full-length album will be an album that shows an IU who is currently standing on the border between the ages of 19 and 20. ['20' is a significant age in Korea, as it signals legal adulthood] We hope fans will look forward to and take interest in IU’s comeback.”
IU’s upcoming album will be released on November 29th, but the tracks will be unveiled on the 22nd.
It's no secret that the four-membered group Secret is gaining popularity in Japan.
The girls have entered into the top five with their first Japanese album on the top music chart in the country, the Oricon daily album cahrt. According to data on November 16th, Secret's "Shy Boy" was at fifth place on the very day it was released.
The idol group had released their first single "Madonna" last August, and had gotten as far as 9th place on the Oricon daily and weekly charts. To have climbed up to fifth with their first album only a few months later is quite noteworthy.
